Mentorship Program
The Mentorship Program was born out of the real life struggles that individuals, their
families and their providers experience with eating disorders on a daily basis. It was created as a
supplementary element to enhance traditional eating disorder treatment choices and is not intended
as a substitute for psychotherapy or medical monitoring (a critical part of all
recovery programs). Our aim at the IIWII Foundation is to halt the "revolving door"
syndrome often seen with eating disorder treatment centers and to reduce the high relapse rates
associated with current eating disorder programs by offering our own form of extra
support, especially valuable during times of transition from one level of treatment
to another.
What will make the difference in your recovery? How do the RECOVERED stay recovered?
The founders of the IIWII foundation share what made the difference for them.
Support
Support
Support. 24 hour a day, 7 days a week.
We're able to offer the perspective of someone who has been in your shoes,
but is further along in recovery and can be your strength when you just can't seem
to find it on your own. After going through our intake and evaluation process you
may be paired with a Mentor who can provide nuts and bolts solutions and referrals,
meal support, a shoulder to cry on and a safe place to share feelings associated
with coping with life in a brand new way.
How do we know it works?
Because it worked for us. It made the critical difference in our lives.
It starts with two simple steps:
Step 1: Contact us for an intake screening and evaluation.
Step 2: Let the professionals at the IIWII Foundation help
guide you on your individual Road to Recovery.
